Text Box: 20th December 2016 Congratulations to Jarnel Kilworth on attaining 6th Kyu (Green and White Belt) and Jodie Hailey on attaining 9th Kyu (Yellow Belt) Keep up the good work and all students should be mindful that the right to grade needs to be earned as well as the belts themselves. The club is now shut for the Christmas and New Year break, we wish all our students and their families a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We will be back to normal (traditional and high standards of) Shotokan training on January 3rd 2017 and look forward to seeing you all again very soon. Thanks for all your support throughout 2016. Oss! 30th September 2016 We are pleased to announce that Sensei Jack Whitehouse and Sensei Gary Yardley have passed their 2nd Dan Black Belts today. Both have been studying Shotokan Karate for many years and this new grade goes some way to recognise their ability, knowledge and commitment to both the art of Shotokan and the Cannon Shotokan Karate Federation.
