T.J and Jarnel have both worked hard over the past months to reach the next level and grading examiners Sensei P Connor 4th Dan, Sensei D Byrne 4th Dan, Sensei J Whitehouse 1st Dan and Sensie G Yardley 1st Dan have all verified that the standard of Shotokan on display is in line with the clubs expectations for the respective grades. Jarnel’s performance in particular was exceptional, demonstrating a focus and pace (especially in kata) rarely seen from such a young student.
